Al-Raziza: “Small and Medium Enterprises Forum” seeks to enhance the added values of the national economy
The "Small and Medium Enterprises Forum", organized by the Asharqia Chamber on Sunday, November 27, 2022, will discuss several topics that support the Kingdom's general orientation in sponsoring small and medium enterprises, and confirm the centrality of their role in comprehensive development plans, as it is an option to enhance "added values" to the national economy through Before providing goods and services, as well as job opportunities for ambitious Saudi youth, and opening up job prospects for the private sector, which confirms its pivotal participation in comprehensive national development.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza said that the forum, which is being held at the Chamber’s headquarters in Dammam under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and in a strategic partnership with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monsha’at) seeks to transform investment, financing and technology issues Financial, to be major tributaries of development and expansion channels for small and medium enterprises, and this is evident through the axes listed on the agenda at the forum, during which new developments in the care and development of small and medium enterprises are monitored, which are the basis for any economy looking forward to growth and further development such as the national economy, Therefore, it is not surprising that small and medium enterprises are one of the central goals in the Kingdom’s Vision 2030
Al-Raziza adds that the forum, through this edition, seeks to identify the best economic sectors in which small and medium enterprises can invest and support them, by introducing the concept of partnerships and alliances for small and medium enterprises as a strategic option, and developing the skills of owners of small and medium enterprises, administrative and technical. Emphasizing Supporting and sponsoring small and medium enterprises is a strategic option for Asharqia Chamber, under which several programs and events are held throughout the year, such as seminars, lectures, counseling sessions, and training courses.
During three sessions, the forum will discuss several important topics. In the first session, the “role of financial technology in empowering small and medium enterprises in light of the Kingdom’s vision 2030.” The research deals with “the role of government agencies in supporting the legislative environment for financial technology, and the integration between government agencies in facilitating Business, financial technology, and the future of financial technology in the Kingdom in light of the Kingdom’s vision 2030 and the empowerment of small and medium enterprises.
